Ben Willis has spent much of the last five years building technology for the short-term rental industry, first inside an operator and now as a vendor to the sector.
He is currently Co-founder and Chief AI Officer at ScaleGX, a platform of orchestrated AI agents for short-stay hospitality businesses. ScaleGX agents integrate with existing property management and messaging systems to handle guest support, operations and reporting, with human oversight built in. Ben leads the technology direction and remains hands-on in the build, working alongside the engineering team every day.
Previously he was CTO of MadeComfy, where he led technology and product for nearly five years through rapid growth and the company’s acquisition by OYO, and put AI to work on real operational problems long before it was fashionable.
He brings nearly 20 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on machine learning and predicting customer behaviour.
