Dan has built a portfolio of more than 250 short-term rental listings while maintaining his full-time job, earning a reputation for a practical, systematic, and no-nonsense approach to the industry.
In 2017, he founded Canstay — formerly Canbnb — Canberra’s first professional short-term rental property management company. Thanks to the hard work of his team, Canstay won ASTRA’s 2025 Excellence in Guest Experience award.
In 2026, Dan acquired Echuca Holiday Homes and was elected to the ASTRA board. Today, he focuses on investing in property and short-term rental businesses, while helping operators scale by connecting them with experienced virtual assistants.
