David Harris is the owner and manager of Aussie Chillout, with more than 23 years’ experience in Australia’s short-stay accommodation sector since 2003. David has hands-on experience across property management, guest experience, direct bookings, marketing, operations and accommodation technology.
He has personally managed properties across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, giving him a practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing independent accommodation operators.
David was also a long-serving Director of ASTRA and played an active leadership role in the Here to Stay Conference for the first 3 years.
David continues to operate Aussie Chillout while contributing to industry discussions and advocating for practical, sustainable approaches that benefit accommodation operators and their guests.
